In this session, teachers will learn strategies to make their lessons and activities accessible to multilingual learners. We will provide ideas to engage multilingual learners at all levels in different content areas. Session leaders will provide examples of activities, modifications, and ideas for lessons. We will also work with teachers to modify assignments and assessments so students can access the content at their language level. Please bring assignments and/or assessments as there will be time to work during the session. Geared for Grades 5-8 Content Area teachers.
