Dr. Amante-Jackson is a nationally-recognized strategist and educator who, through a lens of equity and psychological safety, will lead dynamic sessions that align with Natick’s ongoing commitment to  capacity building and training on the increased connections between belonging-based practices, cultural relevance and tiered instruction/support.   Sessions will support teachers, across the grade levels (PK/Elem - Session 1, MS - Session 2, HS - Session 3, Admin - in the PM).  The goals of the sessions will be to help educators gain skills to deepen strong Tier 1 instruction through academic and behavioral strategies. Participants will learn roadmaps around enacting belonging, tools in monitoring increased relevance, and will have opportunities to process their learning.

Darnisa L. Amante, EdLD, is an adjunct lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Education and chief executive officer of Disruptive Equity Education Project, both in Cambridge, MA.
